Hi there! Our fifth grade Science classroom at Hutchinson Elementary is a source of excitement and wonder. We spend the day exploring a variety of scientific concepts through experiments that bubble, fizz, and boom! While these activities and experiments provide the students with the necessary scientific knowledge, they come wrapped in a package that always includes a real world application and the fun built right in! We prefer this hands-on approach, as it provides a concrete purpose for learning, but it gets pretty expensive. With your help in providing basic household materials and science-specific equipment, we can keep that spark for curiosity and learning alive in these fifth graders!
