Classroom donations would help immensely! There have been so many times that more rudimentary experiments have been performed (or none at all) due to a lack of funds. Often, my own funds are spent for students to experiment with electronics, matter, rocks, space, and energy; however, my own funds only go so far. Hands on, discovery learning is more beneficial and motivating for students. It gets them excited about learning, because they can investigate with their own hands and learn from models that they have created. Furthermore, our students expectations have risen higher and higher. In order for these students to truly grasp the concepts of what they need to learn, they need more meaningful experiences. In addition, the students have the ability to remember these concepts when they learn through directed discovery learning. If we ant our students to build on these concepts in future years, we need to make the learning more meaningful and motivating right now. Th
