I teach 5th grade in a public school in Puerto Rico. This is a low income school. We have no library and students are lacking the intrest for reading. I motivate my students to read in English, by reading a book every morning, and they love it. I will like to create an atractive reading area in my classroom, with bing bags to sit and read, cd players with earphones to hear stories, a computer to do research of the authors and stories, a desk with chairs, a book shelf, and intresting book collections for them to enjoy reading. We will really appreciate the help you could provide us, at the same time you will be helping us to create independent readers and beter citizens for the future. Thanks in advance. Mrs. Ortiz
