Our school services students living in a low economic area. We currently have one challenged class with 7 Gifted and Talented students. We try to be very frugal with our resources. We find ways and strategies to help our students receive hands-on lessons. Our materials, resources, and equipment are out dated or not available within our small budget. We need materials for all subject areas. The subject’s science and social studies are highly regarded at our campus but we do not have sufficient materials to teach these subjects in an engaging or hands on manner. A donation will allow us to purchase materials to improve our lessons and create a higher level of learning. We could reenact parts of history through plays, purchase more artifacts, and novels. Our science lab is incomplete and missing key items in order to service our students better and increase the level of rigor in lessons and experiments.
