Lisa Tingelhoff

Science is a hands-on, continuous exploration of the world around us. As a science teacher, I hope to teach beyond the walls of the classroom. I hope to bring students to science as well as science to students. The students that I serve have chosen to pursue an extended day and extended year education. These students are a diverse collection of socioeconomic status, race and gender and have chosen this program in pursuit of extra value standards related to leadership, communication and technology. A donation to my classroom would help us to pursue these standards as we take on special projects such as the School Sprouts Project (a school and community garden) aimed at teaching beyond the classroom walls.
