My classroom has probably at least 95% free lunch status. We are located two and a half miles from any major store or city. As a result we have little access to public libraries or addition access to internet in our homes for technoogy usage. There is one computer in the classroom for use by the teacher for attendance and communication with staff. I would like to request donations to help us purchase notebook computers that we can research places we are reading about and science interests we come across. This will also allow us to access and or download reading selections wre are unable to obtain in our school library. Drill and practice of math skills would also be helpful for my students. We live in a bi-lingual area and any language practice we can obtain through this request will help us become more productive to go on to higher education and career goals.
