I teach middle school science and in previous years we were able to use FOSS kits to promote hands on science activities. We were fortunate enough to recieve the Science Its Elementary Grant. With funds being cut we are no longer to purchase these kits. When I taught using the kits my students were very engaged and egar to learn. All learing within my classroom was inquiry based which held the interst of the students and the results were phenomonal.
