Barbara Ullem

I teach a class of ethnically and economically diverse second grade students. Nine of the 19 students in my class speak English as a second language. The majority of my students have parents who are working long hours just to provide the basic necessities for their families. Many of my students lack the computers and other educationally enriching materials that more affluent students have in their homes. This is why I have registered my classroom with Adopt-a-Classroom. Additional educational resources will have a positive effect on the learning environment for all of my students. Thank you in advance for supporting my classroom.
