My students are very energetic and enthusiastic. They like to explore, discover, and experiment. My students work together to solve problems, investigate, and draw conclusions while following the scientific method. If you visit my class you will find students working together in teams, sometimes working on the floor, sometimes you will find my students outside. In my class, I believe the best way for the students to learn is by doing. I also try to emphasize that science is a part of their daily lives. A donation for my classroom will enable me to purchase the necessary materials to carry out these fun filled, hand-on labs. Science requires many items that have to be purchased from a grocery store. Investigating the sciences also requires many expensive tools and equipment. I want to give my students every opportunity to succeed, grow, and learn in all the sciences. A donation will allow me to continue to provide the best experiences for my students.
