I am a Special Education teacher for Intensive students and co-taught settings. I also have an MSA Reading class that I teacher. I want my students to be up to date on current events and have reading material that interests them and teaches them too. There are three main magazines on the Junior Scholastic website that I am interested in but they are far too expensive for me to be able to pay for all three for classroom sets for my largest class (32 students, 2 teachers, and a Designated Aide). I have tried to get them paid for via the Social Studies Dept. but there is just no money left in the schools. I was hoping that this organization would help.
