I teach 5th grade in a low-income neighborhood in Muncie, Indiana. Our school receives little money for materials because we must use our funds mainly for professional development. This is because we are considered a failing school by state standards. Not only do we now have stricter requirements because of being a failing school, but we now have a very limited amount of resources with no money to buy more. We already are way behind in the area of technology, so any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with the cost of trying to turn my classroom into a cutting edge classroom that provides a diversified education to all students.
