2 classes are primarily special education Algebra classes and 2 classes are integration Geometry with both regular and special education students. Many are under-privileged or financially challenged and cannot provide themselves with a suitable calculator, protractor/ruler tools for Geometry, or basic school supplies. I specialize in multi-sensory hands-on techniques and use dry erase whiteboards for individual tutoring, class activities, and learning centers so these tools and other supplies like tracing paper and clear transparencies need to be replaced periodically. Currently I am seting up a cyber lab for stuents to access e-books online. I would like to purhase 6 Ace Iconia Tablets for students to access intractive textbook and class webpage and incorporate the Common Core Standards. Our school declined my proposal for additional tchnology this year.
