The district, like all other districts, is trying to save money everywhere. We were told two days before school started that we were losing one-third of the copies that we were allocated last year. School started on August 15th. I used my monthly allocation by the 22nd. I have tried printing a few copies with my printer, but I know that the toner is even more expensive than copies. So I have resorted to paying the local copy store. He has given the teachers a great deal, and I have no problem with his cost. But so far this month I have spent $26 and I still have to pick up my copies for this last week of August. I will spend approximately $40 of my own money for the first partial month of school. I know next month will be more. We need money donated to the school to help cover copy costs. In the math department we use a program called Accelerated Math (AM).
