I am the Technology Specialist for the K-4 elementary schools in this district. I travel to 4 schools and am responsible for student instruction, working with teachers on integrating technology with the classroom curriculum, and providing professional development. Some items that would be greatly appreciated in our computer lab are flash drives, floppy disks, latex free mouse pads, blank CDs, and special papers for projects. Also, general upkeep items like cleaning wipes, paper towels, screen cleaners, tissues, and antibacterial hand gel will help keep our computer lab germ free. On a larger scale, the Dewing School would greatly benefit from additional interactive whiteboards, an LCD projector to use with the boards, network versions of software (typing programs, math and literacy software, etc), a digital camera, and a color network laser printer to enhance our technology projects.
