Our Library Media Center, which services all grades K-6, has a very limited budget for non-book purchases. Our fund-raising is limited as we are a Title One school, with about 80% of our students from families living in poverty. Many of these students have parents who can't contribute funds. My District book budget doesn`t allow for the purchases needed and listed here... Black & color printer cartridges for the Library printer (HP #57 & #58), an inflatable globe for our ceiling, bright-colored heavy printer paper to make bookmarks, markers for 30 students, glue sticks, and a small 3-shelf wooden bookcase.
