My role is to support the curriculum/standards of our school and engage students in learning and love of reading. The lessons I teach are aligned with the classroom and library benchmarks. I service the whole school--grades PreK to 6 so I often run low on items quickly! My focus is to teach thinking skills and thinking behaviors. I believe that it is not enough to think with the brain but it is necessary to think with the heart as well. Items needed are • Supplies for Lessons such as pencils, erasers, folder paper, washable markers, glue sticks, small post-it-notes, paper clips, note cards, etc. are used often • Prizes for reading goals met: certificates, bookmarks, stickers galore, colored paper etc. Aloha!
