I have a wonderful classroom of kindergarteners who are eager to learn and curious about the world. I feel privileged and lucky to be their teacher this year. It's been a little rough for them, as I am recovering from back surgery and as an Hawaiian Language Immersion classroom, they are having difficulty. However, we finally found a great sub, and I am know they will progress under his expertise. Being a Hawaiian immersion classroom, we need supplies that the DOE does not consider "supplies". We do tons of hands-on learning and need things that might considered strange or unnecessary when ordered with school monies.
