These items are specifically my WISH LIST of special things to make the Media Center EXTRA special! 1)In the library Media Center, It would be lovely to add to the tranquility of the Media Center atmosphere some fish tank aquariums with stands. It is relaxing and soothing to watch fish and I know the students would love it. I can have the Science club students help to care and maintain the tanks regularly. 2)Accelerated Reader Program is a reading comprehension program that meets the specific needs of each student based on their individual reading levels. After students read a book, they earn points on a post test of the book that checks their readng comprehension. Trophies, prizes and novelty gift items are needed to reward students achievement in the program and/or to be used as incentives to reward student improvement.
