I teach gifted children from 16 area Birmingham City Schools. In order to best serve them, these children are bused in to my home school, EPIC, once a week. Each day I have children from 5 different schools. Most are in schools that have predominantly free and reduce lunches. There is little or no funding for gifted education so most supplies come from me. I would love to be able to purchase supplies for the children to use as well as hands on learning products.
