My very creative and enthusiastic 2nd Graders LOVE to read, read, read! We are keeping a Reading Log to monitor our progress.
We are in need of an easy way to keep our extensive classroom library organized! We could use sets of colored plastic book baskets. Certain types of books would go in the various colors of baskets. Right now our classroom has a "hodge-podge" of book baskets/bins, that are all different sizes, colors, shapes, and materials (some of the baskets are just cardboard boxes that we have cut the flaps off of). When the students need to return a book to its place in the classroom, it can be a challenge at times to get the right book back into the right basket!
In addition, I would like to purchase some colorful book marks and some Reading award certificates for presenting to my students every time they complete a Reading Log form. It takes a long time to complete a Reading Log, and I know that the children would be thrilled to receive a special book mark and certificate as a reward for all of their hard work! Thank you so much for your consideration.
