We love to have fun while we learn! In order to do that, we need material that costs money. Go to our Web site to find out what we are doing.
As the technology age is moving at a fast forward pace, I believe it is important to equip the students with the learning tools needed to succeed in societies` future. With multiple media applications, the students can explore the world thousands of miles away.
A camcorder would help us actively interact with classes from around the world. We communicate with classes in New Zealand, California, and Bangkok using our class blog now. However, we are limited to word processing.
If we had a camcorder, we could share what we are learning and open our classroom to the world! We could record students sharing their published work, produce reader's theaters, incorporate claymation (an animation of a story using clay), and even record our own plays! These are all creative ways to share what we have learned. It also reinforces and gets the children excited about learning. The possibilities are endless! This innovative technology would also allow us to easily upload our productions to a computer. Our district does not have an easy way to videotape us yet!
With your help, you can influence the way we learn! Our learning would literally come alive with a camcorder.
