As in any classroom funding for projects and opportunities such as field trips is vital for student learning. I have a number of speakers that I'd love to have come to my classroom, but there is no money available to pay them. There are internet field trips that support our curriculum that I'd love to explore further. In addition, I have Atlantic Salmon in my classroom and there is always a problem when it is time to release them about paying for a bus so the students can experience the release.
