My classroom presents a diverse mix of students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Additional funding will support projects such as learning sessions during educationally based field trips, a mobile listening/learning center and hands-on materials for science, math and social studies. With a goal of making our room a place for joyful learning I also hope to increase the size of our classroom library, add more technology and provide additional opportunities and materials in art and music. As a new teacher I look forward to supporting my students with tools, knowledge and resources, which will help them succeed not only in my classroom, but also in life.
