After years of hard work, my school has just received approval to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program to our juniors and seniors. This is something of an experiment: our severely underserved urban public school is far from a typical IB institution, and we want to offer the IB curriculum to every one of our students rather than to a select few. The challenges are immense--books especially are in very short supply--but I am honored to be a part of this initiative, and I am determined to make it a success. If you can support us, I promise you will be making an enormous difference in the lives of my students. Thank you for reading.
