As a teacher of first graders I know the importance of keeping my students actively engaged in lessons. I would love the chance to purchase items that provide a hands-on learning experience. Currently I am hoping for an interactive whiteboard to go along with my document camera. Having a document camera allows teachers to immediately display picture books , math manipulatives, photographs, or lesson materials onto a screen for every student to see. I also feel that a subscription to BrainpopJR.com will help explain many subjects in a more exciting way.
