My classroom needs a variety of materials in order for the students enrolled in dance to fully benefit from this opportunity. Additional funding would be used to buy materials such as costumes and dance shoes for our two annual performances. These costumes and shoes would remain property of the dance classroom and would be able to be re-used year after year. Also, additional funding would be used to purchase a new sound system for our classroom. Receiving additional funding would make a huge impact on my students because they would then be able to fully reap the benefits of a dance program that is equipped with the kinds of materials which will help students be successful.
