In these tough times, I appreciate you taking the time to see how you can help me do my job in the classroom each and everyday. At the moment, funding simply doesn't exists for student instruction materials. With your donations, I specifically plan to use the money to help buy a classroom student interactive product called a SMART Board™ interactive whiteboards. Not only will they allow for students to manipulate the large computer screen and interact with the programs and PowerPoints, but a SMART Board™ will even allow for virtual field trips! We also need upgrades on computers, computer programs, and printers. We could use ink, paper, erasers, glue, scissors, markers, classroom consumables for science, manipulatives for math, crayons and pencils. These would all impact my classroom because instruction would be better differentiated and interactive better meeting students needs in the classroom. In addition to these activities, I will be spending money on student rewards i.e., cake & ice cream for AR, chewing gum, etc. I am hoping that your support would allow students to have instructional materials that would improve student learning.
