Patty Dupuy from Bonne Ecole Elementary  in Sidell, LA says:
My school was one of those that had been damaged by Hurricane Katrina. My classroom was adopted and the greatest of things started to happen. I was able to purchase classroom supplies, sports equipment, book bags and just everyday school supplies for my students who had lost everything. Both the students and I were able to correspond with our sponsor several times and we loved this.  They also sent homemade blankets for every child.
