I teach Academically Gifted students in the fourth and fifth grade. While the students are gifted, there are no federal funds for gifted students. The students I teach have ambition and motivation, but my resources are few. I could use computers/laptops, a laser printer, digital camera, scanner, projector and other current technology to meet the needs of the gifted student. This technology would be used to create projects that go above and beyond the regular classroom. Some project ideas we have are a school newspaper, and writing/publishing books for lower grades to help students learn. Thank you and your gifts will be used wisely.
