This is my 9th year of teaching middle school mathematics. Last year I began to implement a new curriculum, Connected Mathematics Project, that I believe is helping my students to become better problem solvers and more interested life long learners. Because of the nature of the new program there are supplies that I am lacking. The money would allow me to purchase graphing calculators and other manipulatives. My students are very creative and the need for supplies is great. Graphing paper, poster paper, rulers are but a few of the materials needed.
