I want to help my students that are learning Spanish connect with Spanish-speaking students around the world by live video. The classroom impact would be immediate, because I have teacher friends in other countries that would love for their students to meet mine, but we lack the technology. We need a laptop with a web cam and we can use the free program Skype to connect. This will offer my students a native speaker for practice as well as an understanding of other cultures. Our kids need to be bilingual, and this will motivate them to learn more than ever!
